The case and the dial are decorated with 72 diamonds weighing 1.12 carats. Because of an improved setting, the diamonds reflect the light better and have a more visible presence and added brilliance. The moon phase display at 12 o’clock works so precisely that it only deviated from the actual orbit of Earth’s satellite by one day after 122 years.
